429349 2006-02-11 20:44:00 I noticed that if I ever keep moving my mouse in a circle, I see that it keeps jumping or skipping. It's not just my mouse because I've been playing the game Counter Strike and some other games and the screen just keeps skipping every 1 or 2 seconds which affects my gameplay. Is this because I have too many processes running at once? Because I try to stop some processes sometimes and it doesn't seem to help much. I really need some help to get rid of this skipping!

I have a Dell Dimension 8200
pentium 4
windows XP
GeForce2 MX/MX 400 (graphics card)

429351 2006-02-11 23:32:00 Look at resources tab in Task manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del), see what % your CPU is running.

It's possibly your system is full of adware/spyware etc and just plain bogged down, the description you give suggests that the CPU time could be the problem.

what kind of mouse have you got?

it could just be your mouse pad at fault here.

429354 2006-02-12 00:43:00 Once again.. It's not my mouse. When I am playing a game like Counter Strike where I'm just walking forward, I'm still skipping, it's not because of my mouse. Archee (9788)
