1386345 2014-10-15 09:18:00 Hi Team

Yesterday I added Choice TV and Prime 'on demand' to the TV lists on my computer.

Both Choice and Prime worked well and I watched a couple of programs that I had missed.

This evening the Prime link no longer works, and it appears that Sky TV have the rights as a subscription service only.

Either Sky has just today changed to a subscription model for Prime, or somehow I had sneaked in 'under the radar' for 24 hours.

So, has access to Prime on demand always been a Sky subsriber only deal?

Cheers

1386347 2014-10-15 19:48:00 I think you now have to have a SkyGo account to watch Prime.. paulw (1826)
1386348 2014-10-15 22:20:00 Well, they can go play in the traffic then!

I'm not paying for delayed viewing of a channel that is free to air in realtime, so if I can't recover my original 'free' link I'll just adjust my viewing to watch live anything we want on Prime, then any other conflicting programs by +1 or on-demand. We don't watch that much TV anyway, so we see no value at all in Sky or any other paid-access programming source.

We will get along just nicely as we are thanks, and there is always the option of recording Prime if there was a conflict serious enough to see Mrs T throwing my toys out of the cot. :D

Cheers

1386349 2014-10-16 07:20:00 Have to agree with you. We won't pay for Prime on demand either. The programmes are not that important. And, like you, we also don't watch much TV and won't pay for Sky. But if there are conflicting programmes, it is easy enough to record it to watch at a later time.

Do hope that Mrs T does not throw your toys out of your cot.:D

Speak for yourself ... I always dance along to the Wiggles every morning after my coco pops and coffee ... so sad to see them go :crying

Nah, I couldn't do that, we have invested too much money in repairs and restoration to keep her on the road (so to speak :D) and she has just had a main suspension joint replaced at the taxpayers cost, besides which, I'm kinda attached to her after nearly 30 years. Any woman who could put up with me and my weird sense of humour for that long has got to be a keeper! :wub

Besides which, I am very handy around the house.

Cheers
