One of them is going to be the one or tw. to allow 8.1 to install. PJ Yep, from memory theres roughly 1GB in updates, then 3.6GB upgrade to 8.1. Some say you only need to download a couple of KB's then 8.1 --BUT every time I tried that its failed, so 1GB+ it is :) | wainuitech (129) | ||

| 1397351 | 2015-03-30 07:34:00 | If you right click the start Button on the left hand bottom corner you'll get a menu. Left clicking the Start button, or pressing the Windows key on your keyboard ( bottom Row - left hand side- will have the windows symbol) will change you to the start screen. Installed programs will be on the start Screen, again move your mouse to the bottom left hand corner there is a down arrow simply click that and theres all your programs. 6329 To put them on the first start screen right click the icon / pin to start, then drag to where you want it located on that screen and resize as you like by right clicking the icon- again a menu for that icon appears. OR if you know the name of the program you want to open, simply go to the start screen start typing ( any where, doesn't matter ) the name of the program, then on the right it and any others will appear - click it and it opens. Many people dont know that the mouse has a right click function which will always bring up a menu ( this goes wayyyyyy back) To remove any icons/ apps from the start screen simply right clcik the one you want - Unpin from start. Get rid of ones you dont want and it makes it a Lot easier. (They will still be in the second layer if you want them again) Out off all the original icons I have only two, Desktop and store, the rest are programs I use. |
