1385762 2014-10-07 06:22:00 Most important thing with dishwashers is to feed 'em regularly, take 'em out occasionally, and ignore the odd strange noise they make. Buy some shoes for them occasionally, and don't let them read over you sh --- -- --- ouch R2x1 (4628)

1385765 2014-10-07 10:06:00 Bosch seem to get a pretty good write up. We have one at work used twice a day for the last 5 years and hasn't missed a beat. Alex B (15479)

LOL.
When I got my first dishwasher, husband said he'd leave. Hm....he's still here...in fact he installed it.
And the next 2 I had as well.

Currently have a second hand Simpson.
The first second hand Simpson lasted 8 years. NO idea how old it was when I got it though.

1385767 2014-10-07 19:17:00 Mine is a Simpson front-loader. Had it for 15 years. It's been moved location 5 times, including between cities. The stabiliser bar went missing after the second move, and this was supposed to keep the inner tub stable during transit. Its never missed a beat and washes flawlessly.

My only problem - I long since lost the manual and I can't recall what some of the buttons are for.

I love it and if / when it packs in will definitly buy the same brand again.

That's what can happen if you lose the manual, and forget what the machine is supposed to be for ...

1385771 2014-10-07 21:34:00 What would be worse for the dishes?
The top loader's agitator on wash cycles, or a front loader's tumble dry regime? Were they really better for your bone china than the old wringer models?
