| 1385568 | 2014-10-03 18:21:00 | Its not so much the hardware, its more to do with online safety. Theres a lot of weird buggers and dangers on the internet that pray on young girls. . Prey. LOL......pray is what the religious do to talk to god. I think the best thing with kids is to have the PC in the lounge where you can see what they are doing. |

| 1385572 | 2014-10-10 01:19:00 | My niece and nephew started using the internet at a young age. They use their parents' desktop computer. Aside from making an account for them to use, there were 2 or 3 programs installed that prohibit the access of certain sites. Yes, parental supervision is also a must when kids use the internet. | ruellesmith (17277) | ||
| 1385573 | 2014-10-10 02:20:00 | There's plenty of free parental control software out there . Worth a looksee, but make an image of the HD first. But perhaps not the free Spark offering (its Mcaffe) :badpc: www.techradar.com You could also consider making an image of that PC & wiping/re-imaging every month or so. and some online info help.spark.co.nz http://www.netsafe.org.nz/ |
