| 1397417 | 2015-03-27 07:14:00 | Hi weneva I try 2 dwnload a file, usually it will say 2min but now it say 24hr then Fails. This happens on chrome and firefox but not explorer. Ive tried defragment, C drive clean, malware scan, clear history on both browsers and reinstalling it, My internet is working at fast speed, but nuthing working. | 1397418 | 2015-03-27 21:13:00 | What security ( Antivirus/Firewall) software are you using ? If the firewall is playing up it can slow down FF and Chrome. Depending on what you have installed a faulty or intensive extension / Addon can cause that as well. Generally IE doesn't use extensions the same as FF & Chrome. Edited: just remembered if you Disable "Use hardware acceleration when available" in the browser settings that sometimes fixes problems. In Chrome its in the settings / Advanced / System Options. FF - Tools / Options/ Advanced Tab |
