I don't know what other Councils did but I think here in Napier there was a large amount of feedback saying no. Poxy Labour Party. They need to be kicked out in a big way. Totally undemocratic! 1481568	2021-10-26 22:04:00	I have to confess, I voted for the Labour mob when they swept into power 4+ years ago because I thought the possibility of a fresh new look to politics. It did not take long to find the error of my ways and I went back to National last election. SWMBO voted for them again last election and has been kicking herself over the last few months. 1481569	2021-10-26 22:34:00	Labour party dogma . put it under govt control. The majority didnt want this . Its like going back to the 1950's So setting up a new bureaucracy . New govt depts that will be accountable to no one Expect some million $ salaries . It will cost millions to setup , hire staff , setup offices . They will have zero experience , especially local experience, so things will only get worse. Our water bills will increase. I suspect they will use this to make the big cities pay for the smaller towns . Thats the real reason behind it .	1101 (13337)
1481570	2021-10-26 22:35:00	Grrrrr, I voted for them too. :groan: It was a tactical vote to try and get rid of the Greens and allow Labour to govern alone. Problem was Labour didn’t want to govern alone and incorporated the Greens. What now? National have completely imploded and look Terminal to me, which leaves Act who just have to keep their collective noses clean to have a great show of winning the next election. He was a real piece of work. I had my first business then and really didn't know what to do next. There has been some indifferent governments since then but this lot Have to be the worst! We just can't trust politicians! Devious bastards all wanting to carry out their own personal agenda. Look at the wonderful plan to reform the electricity market a few decades ago. 1481576	2021-10-27 05:29:00	I dont think the Commies will get away with this legislation in its entirety because local councils dont want to see their assets seized by the Commies and they may water it down. National will oppose it but it may not translate into many votes. The Commies took our semi auto rifles and the Commies got more votes in the next election. I have given up on my fellow White citizens. I dont know how this will pan out, we Whites are getting stiffed but most dont seem to care anymore.	prefect (6291)
