| 1478444 | 2021-07-05 04:38:00 | Xtra mail is asking for this: 10983 Remember, many years ago it also asked for this (or similar) annoying pop up. Can't remember how it was resolved. Any one of you guys here having similar pop up? This is the 3rd time it pops up today. I clicked Cancel to clear the pop up. Is there anything wrong with my email? I am using Outlook 2013 for my email. |

I am using Outlook 2013 for my email. It's Possible Outlook is to old -- Xtra change their Security settings and often it makes older email clients useless. Even had spark once say the latest Outlook in Office 365 was to outdated - Please update to a newer version -- Errrrr waaaaaa !! Seen it happen countless times, people use an old program like Windows Live mail (2012) or similar aged Outlook, suddenly without warning they get the same message as posted - try the web based and it logs in fine, try a newer program like EMClient (example) - Exact same user Name / Password - Works fine. Check the Settings - being POP may also be a problem due to security www.spark.co.nz |

Outlook has known bugs where it keeps prompting for passwords Seen that many times, not just with xtra So , it could be a bug in their email client . The other thing that used to SOMETIMES fix xtra password issues, is to login to xtra webmail on that PC (just once ) Also, try using the full email adress as the user name Change the settings for the email a/c in that email app (ssl, ports etc) |

| 1478448 | 2021-07-06 00:11:00 | Seems its not just Extra --- just went to open the email on a workshop PC as I have a million times so to speak and Google jumps up saying the Application is insecure and to old - errrrr get Real, its the latest office 365.
