It helps us judge the quality of the counter-arguments. I wonder what his views on Covid vaccination are. I must say I like the idea of measuring global warming by sitting in the garden with a beer and a thermometer. Pity about the somersaulting cat, though. |

| 1482205 | 2021-11-17 20:01:00 | HERE (www.youtube.com) is a guy who understands the situation. :D As we all know , Pacific Islands are now completely underwater , as predicted last century. All the inhabitants of those Islands must have drowned , as we didnt hear from them. It must be true , we were warned . The earth was once so much warmer that tress grew in Antarctica . Put that in your fact box . It wasnt a global catastrophe , there was no runaway heating up killing everything . Global temps change . Be sure to adjust your facts to fit in with your scaremongering :) we're all doomed, doooooooomed . better all start making Arks . And be sure to blame the corporations . |

| 1482207 | 2021-11-19 05:29:00 | It's the only problem. Think about it....animal habitat loss, rainforest destruction, concrete carparks, apartments, roads....unemployment, over crowding, lack of food, pollution of everywhere, even the climate change stuff, everything comes from too many humans crammed in. But people don't like to think it's their 2nd kid or 3rd...it's everyone else who shouldn't breed. |

| 1482208 | 2021-11-19 07:55:00 | Yes we are moving into some sort of crisis tipping point, hopefully we'll have a good chance in NZ re food and some resources, but once the larger economies collapse we will find out that instead of building fortress NZ we have been messing around in some silly global trading event exchanging trashy trinkets when we should have been building up our scientific manufacturing base, to enable us to make our own vaccines for a start. Most of what is happening was foreseeable bar the covid crisis although even that was expected at some stage, but NZ's future has been so poorly managed by successive governments who have been listening to American University professors ensconced in the NZ Universities and giving us advice more suitable for larger economies and biased towards America's needs not ours in a different future than American capitalism running amok in the world. As I said in another post "infinite flat earth thinking in a finite world". |

All resources depleted, a lot of waste and unnecessary use of soon-to-be precious resources, hugely over-populated with many people not able to "think straight", not good at critical, logical thinking, lacking knowledge of geography and history. Woefully equipped to deal with the upcoming challenges in fact. However we have a better chance in NZ as long as the weather doesn't get too severe, it's a pity we didn't put more effort into our armed forces though, and maximally upgraded our hydro and electrified the main trunk line. Also NZ manufacturing should be far more advanced than it is. |
