However I do notice an annoying pop-up asking you to join something or another, I wonder if the pop-up is somehow triggering your computer to jump to the bottom of the page? Pop-up didn't come back on 2nd opening of the page. |

| 1478250 | 2021-06-30 00:57:00 | Works fine for me on FF, Edge and Chrome.Interesting. So I wonder what is different in my environment? Especially as several browsers are/not affected. I can't think of anytrhing offhand that is common to those three, that I would have enabled/disabled. | Tony (4941) | ||

| 1478252 | 2021-06-30 04:05:00 | Good idea. Try this one:itsnotcomplicatedrecipes.com This shows the behaviour in Firefox, Chrome and Edge, but not in Brave. Firefox has adblock plus ebnabled, the others do not. Have you tried opening that page in FF in Safe mode ?? To do that, hold down the Shift Key and click Firefox - Click Open. if it runs OK then there's some sort of Addon or theme that's causing it. But that wouldn't explain Chrome or Edge. AFAIK Theres no Setting that will effect all Browsers |

Try using a Linux live disk if you have one. |

Now I think about it, the timing fits perfectly. The question now is (a) can I get Roboform to change or (b) find another password manager. I tried bitwarden, but didn't like it much. |

LOL wouldn't go that far :p  Its Trouble Shooting 101 -- If all else fails try basics - Default or Safe settings, then work backwards from there. Roboform -- Dont use it ( and wont) As for Password managers -- Dont use them either. Want a almost Full proof Manager ?? May be old fasioned but Cant be hacked as well if malware or infections get in :) AND if your computer get damaged by hardware failures or wont boot you still have access to them. AND works on every OS. 10978 |

Is it the same for the other browsers, i.e. SHIFT click opens them in safe mode? I'm happy to use a password manager. The encryption is pretty good AFAIK, and I keep my own backup by exporting the passwords to a secure USB. I actually used LastPass for years, but got offended when they suddenly put all the limitations on it. I'm not 100% happy with Roboform, but it'll do until I find something better. I've started a support ticket about the page jump issue. |

| 1478257 | 2021-06-30 06:27:00 | I just got this response to my Roboform support ticket: This is because you have "Autofill without asking" enabled in RoboForm > Options > Autofill. When the option is enabled and there is only one choice for filling and a fillable field at any spot at a webpage, RoboForm will attempt to fill it without asking, but no fields can be filled if not seen in the screen, so the browser "jumps" to it. Consider switching from "Autofill without asking" to "Offer to Autofill" in RoboForm options. Or create a dummy identity in RoboForm so that RoboForm had more that one choice for filling. I haven't tried that yet, but it sort of bears out what I was saying that Roboform is OK, but I think I can do better. Update: Yes, making that change seems to fix it. |

| 1478258 | 2021-06-30 07:58:00 | I use Roboform to generate passwords and to remember them. I have not used the browser extension autofill option and have never had any problems with it it what must be coming up to 10 years use. | CliveM (6007) | ||
