431378 2006-02-17 01:44:00 Hi.....I used to click start then run then type in msconfig but now it says windows cant find it....but i can find it through "search"and use it from there but where has it gone from "run"...Please help. :dogeye: dunky33 (9817)

Change msconfig.exe to another file name, like msci.exe and run it. Try this tool. It creates copies of MSCONFIG, TASKMGR.EXE AND REGEDIT.

Run cmd and type in set at the prompt and then look for a line with PATH= at the start and post back here with what it has.

Should be something like:

C:\WINDOWS\system32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\System32 \Wbem
