431204 2006-02-16 09:25:00 ok well.. usb is not recognised by my computer anymore, i've tried a heap but nothing works i looked around on google and found some people were having the same prob but most of them tell me to turn of the auto powersupply off.

this means i can tranfer files to my usb and i cant charge my mp3(not good)

the mp3 and usb work perfectly on other computers so i know it's the computers problem. what happens is when i plug them inthe yellowish bubble pops up and says USB device not recognised

ok so i've tried:
restarting
system restore
trouble shooting
turning the auto power supply off

and nothing works

oh yeah something really wierd is that when i go to the device manager and before i plug the usb/mp3 in, there are originally 9 usb controllers and when i plug the usb in there are 10 and one of them is the "Unknown Device"

431208 2006-02-17 07:52:00 Reload the main chipset drivers for the motherboard.
Reboot twice (don't ask why, I don't know but its sometimes needed!)
