| 431360 | 2006-02-24 07:13:00 | If its written in the era of a 486, and as a TSR, its probably just a DOS based program with no Windows registry involvement at all. Sounds like a Point of Sale type program. Simply copying the files is highly likely to work (but not guaranteed). If they were written by "your friend" then ask your friend. We can only guess. Cloning from the hard drive using Ghost etc means you would also take the registry and all drivers over, which (unless the target PC was identical hardware wise) could create yet more problems. |
