430684 2006-02-15 22:43:00 Hi C M
I had the same problem just now when I opened Firefox - after a while all I got was program not responding.

When I reopened it a few minutes later all was back to normal - bookmarks and everything now okay. Hope you can now access your bookmarks etc

430685 2006-02-16 04:55:00 Could be a corrupt profile. When uninstalling, you have the option of keeping your personal Firefox settings (profile) - did you do this? You should still find your previous profile (and bookmarks) under C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ and then go looking for the bookmarks.html file. Make a copy of this file and put it on your desktop for safe keeping. Uninstall Firefox again, and then go and rename the ..\Application Data\Mozilla\ folder to Old_Mozilla. Install Firefox again and it should create a new ..\Mozilla\ folder. Using the Bookmarks manager, import your saved bookmarks.html from the desktop. You will need to re-download any themes and extensions. Jen (38)
430686 2006-02-23 20:41:00 sorry, ive got some more problems with firefox :badpc::

- I tried to install a theme but whenever i restart firefox (after pressing use theme) it is the normal, basic firefox theme
- my bookmarks do not "save", everytime i add a bookmark and close firefox, they are not there when i start up

edit: (when i logged onto windows i did receive an error message about the pagefile.sys, something about it not being large enough, could this have anything to do with it?)
