432336 2006-02-20 04:59:00 Hi Guys,

Could people suggest a good free image storage site please ?
Have had a go with imageshack and its ok but the interface seems a bit lacking.
I had a wee search without much luck...

thanks a lot

Didn't like the flash adds in the bucket,
Realise about the google screeds but thought some local reports might be fruitful !
cheers

432341 2006-02-21 04:22:00 Had a similar question - which free online service do people recommend for uploading and sharing a whole bunch of photos.

bucket comes out top in google search but someone commented about flash ads - care to elaborate?

TIA.

Free, Unlimited Storage
Your photos will remain in your Snapfish online account indefinitely, as long as you remain an active member of the service. Active participation in the service is defined as sending in film for developing or purchasing photo merchandise (prints, enlargements, Photo Books, Photo CDs or hi-res downloads) through the website at least once every 365 days. If your account is inactive for a period of 335 days or more, we will email you about the pending deletion of your online photos. At that time, you will have the option to re-activate your account, thereby preserving your online photos.

432345 2006-02-22 09:31:00 what size do you want
your isp will probably give you around 10Mb for free
or pay a buck a week and get 10Mb/php/mysql database from kiwiwebhost
or 15 a month and get 100Mb/php/5xmysql databases
Then you'll be able to run some decent photo galleries with no ads etc
better than any free one you'll find and plenty faster
