| 432269 | 2006-02-19 19:46:00 | My sister's using my old pc, XP Pro.She is having trouble with people not getting the end of emails from her. When checking in the sent items, the saved version is the same.Any clues on what to look for? Using Outlook Express. Thanks. |

As a wild stab in the dark, does your sister have a slow internet connection? I am not sure whether it would make any difference or not because my dialup speed was pretty bad, but I did not have "Disconnect after sending and receiving" enabled so I'm wondering whether it was possible that your sister does and is getting disconnected before the message has been fully sent . The other setting that could possibly be causing problems is the "Break apart messages larger than X" in the Account settings . If that is enabled try disabling it . If neither of those apply I would try a repair of Outlook Express . Check Microsoft's page ( . microsoft . com/default . aspx?kbid=318378" target="_blank">support . microsoft . com) or perhaps do a Google for more info . Otherwise wait for Safari or Ninja to swing by . Good luck . :) |

| 432271 | 2006-02-20 03:34:00 | Thanks FoxyMX, I'll have a look at the account settings. I don't think it's set to disconnect, because I set it up. I'm hoping it'll keep going till she can afford a new one, takes about 7 goes in the morning to get it going at present!!! Wouldn't even do that when I tried to reinstall ME!! But then it runs great all day.It's been handy having that image I set up after installing the basics!! And yes,paradise can be slow at times. |
