2006-02-19 08:41:00 | Done a bit of searching & a lot of the threads have reccomendations from gamers etc. who want high caps & fast speeds. My 3 years free dial up has just run out & If it's just a matter of $5-$10 more to get broadband I'll make the jump. I see slingshot have broadband for $29.95 a month, Otherwise there seem to be a few at $39.95 a month. I only browse forums & email.........would like to start downloading some MP3's aain but mainly light use. Anyone have any recommendations?? Cheers KiwiMR2

2006-02-19 10:26:00 | I think what KiwiMR2 wants is broadband that costs $5-$10 more than what the dialup was, if it was not free... obviously you need to know how much you'd have been paying if it wasn't free.

2006-02-19 18:17:00 | Since the free dialup has ended I've benn automaticly put on $24.95 unlimited dial up a month, so up to $30-$35 a month is what Im happy to pay. Cheers KiwiMR2

2006-02-19 21:34:00 | Slingshot has $10 flatrate dialup if you move your tolls over, Clear Net has dialup for $13 (150hr). BB Depends what you want to do with it. $30 is the mark you will be aimin at but the speed and cap is smaller than the $60 or $80 packpages. Certainly you would have a 128k upload speed and a small cap.

Ok so Slingshot's broadband is $29 . 95 (cheapest I can find), Im only browsing forums & e-mailing so Im not fussed with caps & speed as long as it is quicker than dial up (gotta get something for my extra $5 a month ;) ) $29 . 95 Slingshot ( . slingshot . co . nz/DesktopDefault . aspx?tabindex=999&tabid=11&subnav=18" target="_blank">www . slingshot . co . nz) Ahhhhhhhh . . . . . I see, this "tolls" thing as well :( I just want broadband, none of the tolls crap, It's still so god damn expensive here in NZ  Cheers KiwiMR2 |
