| 432207 | 2006-02-19 10:38:00 | I have some freinds who've got a heavy old printer and a pile of phone books and a few other thing stashed on top of the tower and I have always thought this was a bad idea. :( These boxes aren't made to be shelving and I figure with their very eccentric comp it just may be causing some problems. I know it is a long shot but couldn't a board or some other component get slightly bent, enough to cause even an intermittent fault somewhere? :badpc: Do you pile things on top of the case no problems? :horrified Thanks, long shot :D |

| 432209 | 2006-02-19 17:58:00 | I wouldn't. It is possible for the case to flex on an angle and twist the board, which could cause hairline cracks in it. Depends on how flimsy the case is though. But they should tidy up anyway, who needs clutter. tell them to invest in a couple of cupboards ;) |

| 432210 | 2006-02-19 19:22:00 | Unless the pressure is so great that the case distorts and becomes trapezoidal, there is really zero chance of doing any harm. You could probably stand on a case and not do much more than dent the top. A few phone books and a printer etc are no problem. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
