Once Ive open a pic file with PSP7, added a layer and made a outline tracing, how do I then remove the background pic leaving the tracing and saving it as a seperate pic file. I cant seem to delete the base picture. Can I save a Layer as an independant image file, that would be another way around the problem. Thanks. John in Mosgiel. |

| 433107 | 2006-02-23 08:14:00 | Use "promote to layer" for the background - right click on it or off a menu bar (I forget which). Then just turn off the background in the layer toolbar, click the small glasses. Then export out a jpeg or gif, or save as a png. Keep your master as a psp file for further use. Hope this helps :) |

| 433110 | 2006-02-23 08:27:00 | With the draw tool set to freehand line it does it automatically! Set the curve tracking, the bigger the number the more curvy the line Gee I learned something! |
