| 432855 | 2006-02-22 06:23:00 | Ok, my Dad has 2 accounts set up in outlook. One is his main, and the other is a project he is starting up that needs an email, but he never sends from it, and ALWAYS wants to send from his main email. Today all his mails started sending from secondary email address. We would delete the secondary account, as it is unimportant... except for now, because he just sent emails from it, and so is expecting replies from that address. I can't find it, but does anyone here know how to set the default send address? I have tried a few things, but cant get it to work. Thanks |

Apparantly there are 7 different modes of operation for Outlook 2000, and some modes have Tools > Accounts, some have Tools > Services.... and some there is no default button. Anyway, I just changed the displayed email on the secondary account to be the same as the primary, so now it will still recieve its own emails, but if you send from it, the primary account comes up. Perfect. |
