| 432729 | 2006-02-22 00:55:00 | I have a GeForce 4 MX 440, 64mb, AGP graphics card in a Dell 4600 w/ 256mb RAM, 2.66GHz P4 processor. Recently when attempting to play EVE-Online, I launched the game and found that all of the textures in the login screen had failed to load and were replaced by unrelated patterns. Puzzled, I tried launching Halo, and received the same results. After restarting, lowering clock speed, force-shutdown, and disconnecting power for a few minutes, I tried running DirectX Diagnostics. DirectDraw appeared to work correctly, but the Direct3D tests showed the same lack of textures. I have uploaded two screenshots, the right-hand monitor is my primary one: EVE-Online (images.caf.ssxh.net) and Halo (images.caf.ssxh.net). I have updated my drivers to the latest version on the nVidia website, and the problem still exists. What can I do to fix this? Thanks. -M808B |
