432538 2006-02-21 04:29:00 Hi there

Being involved in two clubs, Its up to me to send occasional email reminders to membership about up coming events.

The trouble I have, and Im connected with Xtra, is that Outlook Express or Xtra will not allow some defunct email addresses to be sent in a BCC line, while allowing others.

When I update the email addresses, then import them into my addressboook, I prepare the email, when I press send, it balks confirming that they have been sent, saying there were problems sending the email, giving me a list of those addresses it thinks are invalid. I delete them from the BCC list and resend it, all goes well.

An hour or so later I receive email advising some emails were no longer valid. Fair enough, but I cant understand why Im hassled prior to sending on some addresses but not on other defunct addresses an hour or so later.

Thanks John :-)

The other ones that get returned after sending the email will be from non Xtra addresses and the mail servers for those addresses are returning the message.

Thanks ;-)
