| 433633 | 2006-02-25 03:45:00 | Can I (legally) just copy the contents of a music CD to the HDD and play directly from the HDD rather than inserting the CD everytime? I tried to copy and paste the song titles to the HDD but Windows' Media Player could not recognise the file format (*.cda ). Cheers |

I refuse to allow my kidlets to borrow my precious CDs so ripped them with CDex to my hard drive and they can play the music on their PC from over the network. Note: There are no P2P file sharing programs on any PC in this house nor can they burn copies so the music is going no further than my own four walls - apart from when the volume is on full and the windows open, that is. :D |
