| 434222 | 2006-02-27 06:51:00 | Hi There, I have recently upgraded from Outlook Express to Outlook for our email . One of the advantages of Outlook Express was that any photographs sent as attachments arrived at the other end as imbedded in the actual message, and there was no need to open individually the photos to view them . Similarly when you sent photos you could see how your message looked by going into the 'Sent' box and view your message with the photos in the message . Also when we receive emails with attachements / photographs , we have to individually open them and not view them in the message . :waughh: Outlook does not seem to be able to do this . Is there anyway I can get Outlook - which has plenty of useful functions to it - to perform like its 'cut down' version, Outlook Express? Any help would be great . Thanks Lance |

| 434223 | 2006-02-27 08:55:00 | It is not recommended that you automatically display pictures in mesages but if you really want to got to Tools/Options Select Security tab Under Download Pictures select "Change Automatic download settings" There are several options there you can select. |

It's no use having T'bird or Gmail when you need decent data links into your word processor/database... |

Hmmm, I'm tempted to suggest you are probably using MS Office right, which would explain why you need OE. |
