I seem to remember reading somewhere a while back that socket 939 mobos, although they natively run dual-channel memory slots, are able to run a single unpaired memory module. Doing so forces the memory channel to become single-channel. Is this correct? |

afaik all dual channel can run in single chanel mode, some even run BETTER in single than double. |

Is your question about going from two to three memory modules, and it's affect on running as dual channel memory? |
