"Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display Windows Firewall settings."

help me?

Why? It never killed mine. I can still use my dial-up connection when away from my dsl line. :confused:

Maybe you have some ZA or other configuration issues you need to trace and correct.

also most other firewalls auto disable windows firewall as running two can cause problems.
