| 435623 | 2006-03-05 04:44:00 | I am having a problem running Google Earth on my recently acquired new computer. This is something of a surprise to me since Google Earth ran perfectly on the old computer which was of a much lower specification. Basic specs are: Win XP SP2 Media CENTER Edition. AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual core 3800+ CPU Mother board: ASUS A8N-SLI Memory: IGB DDR 400 PC3200 SDRAM Graphics Card: GECUBE X800XL 256MB PCIE HDD: SEAGATE 200GB SATA 7200RPM When I load Google Earth, the program is somewhat sluggish. On flying to a premarked location on the globe, the program hangs just before I get there and does not zoom in the the previously determined elevation. The <Tilt> function does not work at all with either the mouse on the on-screen control panel. I have just downloaded a fresh copy of the program and there are no available updates. All my hardware is new a fully updated. Does anyone have any suggestions? :waughh: |
