435299 2006-03-04 00:13:00 Hey guys,

Ok. So my Resume is 2 pages long and there is nothing on the second page but some sort of faded table/header that I have no idea of how to get rid of it.

So I am assuming that I can just delete the second page, which would probably be easier to do.

But now I can't figure out how to delete the second page so that my resume document is just 1/1 page long.

Thanks guys

435302 2006-03-04 02:08:00 I have found that occasionally that won't work for some odd reason, usually associated with special page-breaks, and deleting louses up the formatting of the prior page.

In that instance, and assuming that you want to print your document, just ask the printer to print pages 1-x (where x is the last page you want printed, in this case 1-1.

Cheers

435303 2006-03-04 04:20:00 If you activate the Show/Hide icon in the toolbar, then you can often see what hidden formatting is causing the extra blank pages. Excess carriage returns is the most common cause, and appears to be what you had. Sometimes if you have a table that extends to the very end of the page, it will force a new blank page. You can get around this as well by tweaking the page margins or by making the bottom line (carriage return) under the table a size 1 or 2 font. Jen (38)
435304 2006-03-04 08:02:00 Turn on the "show all" option in Tools|options|view
You'll then see spaces, tabs, paragraph markers etc.
Takes all the guesswork out of 'what the hell is going on in my document?"
