| 435711 | 2006-03-05 20:19:00 | If you are restricted to dial-up internet connection, it would be quite nice to be able to go to bed if a download takes a lot longer than expected! Is there a setting which is something like "Shutdown on completion of download" (XP, Home Edition)? Alternatively, is it possible to Shut Down (not just hibernate) after a set period of time? |

| 435714 | 2006-03-05 20:36:00 | is it possible to Shut Down (not just hibernate) after a set period of time yes however a download manager is better cause you can usually 'resume' the download from whereever it cut off.......handy if the isp cuts you off or the cat chews thru the phone line..... |
