| 435678 | 2006-03-05 11:21:00 | Each time I rename My Computer, after a reboot it decides to go back to "My Computer". This minor problem irritates the heck out of me. Any ideas as to how I can make the change permanent, please? This has only been an issue since I performed a Repair recently. Thanks! (WinXP Pro Sp1) |

| 435680 | 2006-03-05 16:40:00 | I just right clicked on the My Computer icon, clicked on RENAME and did it...it stuck over a year ago and is still the way I made it... but of course, I am using SP2 too. |

Wave a heavy computing manual in a threatening manner at it (If you don't have one stick the cover of PCworld over an old telephone book) Pick it up off the desk and threaten it with the old "1.. 2.. 3.. drop!" |

There's several instances of Display Name, so I'm gonna muck around with them . We'll see .
