436302 2006-03-07 08:10:00 Wondering if anyone can help,i am running XP home with SP2 installed with an AMD 1.1Ghz . The CPU is running at 98-99% all the time in the systems heading in task manager, when shutting down, the screen hangs on the "Windows is shutting down" . I have run AdAware, AVG, SpyBot & Reg Mechanic to no avail. Thanks in advance Whenu (9358)

436307 2006-03-20 10:36:00 I would check the power settings in the BIOS, turn hibernation off, or install the videocard drivers (which I take it, are installed)?

Are the PSU and the motherboard ATX??
