| 436199 | 2006-03-07 01:23:00 | FYI, everytime I try using my dial-up connection while running Comcast DSL my computer would reboot. Is it wrong to think that I can use both at the same time, if not how can I turn off my DSL (with out taking the RJ-45 cable out or shutting the DSL modem off) to use the Dial-up modem to dial to remote routers for setup... | bsmurf1962 (9931) | ||
| 436200 | 2006-03-07 03:08:00 | I'm guessing there's a conflict between your LAN chipset and your modem. You're using Windows XP, right? If so, right-click "My computer" Properties "Advanced" tab Startup and Recovery "Settings" button (near bottom) Clear the check-mark on "Automatically restart" OK OK You should have an event in the system log. Right-click "my computer" Manage Event Viewer System Look for "Error" types Post the details from the event viewer here to help the helpers. |
