| 436117 | 2006-03-06 23:49:00 | This is stated on Telecom web site "Our Mobile Broadband network will deliver average download speeds of around 300 - 500Kbps, with a huge maximum of 2Mbps. This is easily fast enough to stream video and will give you access to your email and company network with the kind of download speeds you're used to in the office - or maybe even faster! " Now to use this with a notebook, you need a Sierra Aircard which when installed uses the COM ports. My question is, if COM ports are limited to 115200bps max port speed, whats the point of Telecoms speed? |
