Your site needs to go through several more total makeovers before it could be seen as professional. In the beginning, the temptation is to use busy, bright backgrounds. A site with a white background is much, much easier to read and look at. Your visitors will thank you. There's so much to learn and you're courageous in asking the opinion of folks here. Stick with it. If you have access to Dreamweaver, and take the time to get to know it, you'll never use Frontpage again. With Dreamweaver, you can also use very professional looking ready-made templates by Project Seven (http://www.projectseven.com/). Using these, you can learn heaps about web design. Good luck! |

| 436431 | 2006-03-08 03:58:00 | I'd hate to try and access it on dial up. I'm on full-speed Jetstream, but it took so long opening the first few photos that I gave up. I agree with the comments re the blue background etc, didn't feel enthused enough to look further. Cheers Billy 8-{) Felt bad about criticising without looking further so I've delved deeper. Sadly, it didn't improve in appearance or speed. Incidentally, IMHO having what appears to be the Principal's husband as a trustee is a potential conflict of interest that should never have been allowed to happen. Squeaky clean and above reproach are the bywords, it doesn't matter that they might both be fine people, it is perceptions that can kill you. |
