| 436251 | 2006-03-07 04:14:00 | Hi, I have a "new" Compaq Proliant ML350 (Its 850mhz, and i thinks its a G1, but thats what the problem is), and i want to install Windows on the raid drives, but i need a Smartstart CD...So i asked the guy i got the server off, and he gave me a CD (Version 6.40) i put it in, and it tells me it needs 5.5 or older :annoyed: Now im hunting around the HP/Compaq site, and found this (h18007.www1.hp.com) BUT it doesnt say anything about my server...it just says G2, G3 etc... Does anyone know where i can get a CD that works, as i dont really want to waste 400mb of bandwidth on something the doesnt work...or any other way to get windows installed on the raid drives... | 436253 | 2006-03-07 09:26:00 | Sorry to bring this up again, but: I got windows installed, and running nicely, then the PSU died!!!! :mad: It just pulses on and off all the time, and i dont know if a normal ATX PSU will work in it as it seems to have more pins (The one in the server) . Any ideas? Daniel |
