| 436205 | 2006-03-07 02:36:00 | Hi to everyone,for any help I may get,thank you. When I try to run the de/fra and scan disk this message appears as follows. Disk de-frag cannot run on this volume type. My PC is 2000. One week ago ,I had a new A drive and a new CD burner installed by a professional person,also 3days ago I updated Spybot,My anti virus is Norton and the fire wall is Zone Alarm. Iam a new chum to PC. |

| 436207 | 2006-03-07 03:32:00 | If you try to defragment a floppy disk, you'll get this error message. Not sure if a CD acts the same, but I suspect it would. I've heard installing XP SP2 will fix this error message. http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ |

I've heard installing XP SP2 will fix this error message. http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ I seem to have solved my problem as follows.-On file menu clicked on props used tool tabs (Under Error-checking Clicked check now) I hope you can under stand my answer.
