| 435995 | 2006-03-06 20:54:00 | Now I know this should be simple but how do you back up In and Out emails from Outlook 2000 to another folder/drive? Many thanks |

| 435997 | 2006-03-06 21:24:00 | Thanks but had tried that and got: "Cannot copy outlook: the process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file" - and yes Outlook is closed |

| 435998 | 2006-03-06 21:41:00 | Open Norton Antivirus Click Disable Auto-Protect Try that, remember to turn Auto-protect back on. Failing that start up in safe mode and try to back up the .pst files |

To achieve the sync you have to ensure that you have exited Outlook on both computers. I am puzzled why this is not a happening thing for you if you have closed Outlook - I have never had to do anything to my anti virus email checker (I use System Suite; maybe this is another one of Norton's 'take over the world' foibles?). Agree with Safari that start up in safe mode should work, but that is a bit cumbersome, and I hope you can avoid it by his other method. |
