436890 2007-12-19 22:04:00 If your into RPG's then you cant go wrong with Diablo 2, one of the best PC games ever. Both Star War Knights of the Old Republic games were also very good, although the second one had a ****ty ending as it was rushed out for the holiday season. Pete O'Neil (6584)
436891 2007-12-19 22:12:00 Knights IS really good! Baldurs gate (both of them) is fantastic. WoW is addictive, I don't know anyone who plays it who hasn't had it ruin their social life in some catastrophic way. Would NW Nights work on MX4? BG2 is probably my favourite game ever, try that. And all of these games will be cheap as chips. Also easy to get on the net. Not that I'm endorsing that sort of stuff... Thebananamonkey (7741)
436892 2007-12-20 00:15:00 Like it was stated earlier, Diablo II (with the LOD expansion) is amazing, in terms of replayability. There are so many different modifications to it as well, that some of them is just like playing a new game.

Other games, like Dungeon Siege 1 & 2 and Titans quest are quite good, but are Diablo ripoffs.

436893 2007-12-20 01:13:00 Incidentally, did you ever play this under Linux? If so, with WINE? or Cedega?Sorry, I never did try that. Jen (38)
436894 2007-12-20 02:36:00 too slow, all the game's I'd suggest have been mentioned already. But here's my :2cents: anyway

Diablo II - agreed it's one of the best ever, however it remains overpriced for it's age and the graphics are showing their age as well

Dungeon Siege 1 & 2 - enjoyed both of these, yes they copy much of diablo's style, but is that a bad thing?

Titan Quest is a straight out Diablo clone with Awesome Graphics, Lotta fun but very demanding system wise

Neverwinter Nights - one of my favourites, but if you want to try the Baldurs gate games do that first, it's hard to go backwards as the newer ones have improved a few things.

Knights of the old republic games are cool, a little easy to get into than NWN

WoW - has consumed months of my life, don't play it! :)

436896 2007-12-26 06:39:00 A Geforce 4MX isn't going to run NWN2, or Oblivion. Probably not DS2 either... I find oblivion gets old quickly though, every mine looks exactly the same, you spend hours going around what feels like exactly the same place. If they drew more skins for the environment then I'd be more engaged, but every house is pretty much the same. For such a long game it's a fairly fatal flaw in my mind. Thebananamonkey (7741)
436897 2008-01-08 00:59:00 Your geforce4mx essentially a very fast geforce2 MAY be able to handle the game "The Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind" make sure your processor is at least 1Ghz (1000Mhz) and that you have at least 256MB RAM.

You can pick up The Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind for $9.95 from basically any gaming retailer, I highly recommend this game, It is just brilliant once you get into it.
