| 436617 | 2006-03-08 08:01:00 | Hi, my XP computer has the printer(Hp deskjet 3745)by USB. The Linux(Badger) is connected by cross over cable. Thanks to a lot of help from you guys(m&f) I've managed to get VNC to work (Linux on XP), and with Samba I can see my XP files(XP on Linux) but I'd love to be able to print and scan from Linux. I've a very explicit tutorial on this very subject from some one but it is Kubuntu-specific; I have gnome. Yes I could change to KDE, but I'm really wanting to learn. Scanner is a Canoscan, but I think if I can print from Linux then I could work round this. Sarum PS m&f=male & female |
