437435 2006-03-11 09:52:00 Just looking at building an entry level PC for a relative. Thinking of using Intel Celeron D341 2.93Ghz CPU. Info on retailer website says the CPU socket is T-LGA775. Is this the same as LGA775 or is there another type of T Socket. Advice needed. Thanks. ephesus (2509)

Can you give a link to the retailers website?

Cheers,
Mike.

437438 2006-03-12 02:14:00 It appears that Socket T and LGA775 is the same thing, as it says Socket T and then in brackets says LGA775.

At the top of the info it says this:
SOCKET LGA775, FSB 533, 256K L2 CACHE, EM64T, RETAIL BOX

which to me means its just a plain ol' LGA775.
