437442 2006-03-11 09:11:00 Hi
I've had a look through this forum and Google and am stumped. How do you copy part of an MP3 file?

I have tried using Nero Express 6 which appears to split the MP3 file, but I can't seem to save the part of the MP3 I want as a separate MP3 file to my PC. I also tried GoldWave 5.12 but I can't navigate my way to the end of the MP3 file (I'm trying to extract a part from the end of the file) and GoldWave is only letting me see / play the first 90 seconds of the MP3 file.

What am I doing wrong? Or can someone provide some guidance? The MP3 in question is about 30 minutes in length and I wish to extract approximately the last 2 minutes.

My OS is Xp Pro.

Thanks in advance
Andrew

You can get Audacity off of sourceforge.net :)
