| 1399358 | 2015-04-26 03:41:00 | Hi all I've done some searching on the problem below, but can't seem to find exactly what I want . I coach Trapshooting at High School level and use the score card attached to keep a record of how my guys are going and to know how much it costs them . . . . In the example I've posted, the top line is for targets . . . no worries there . The line with DTL is what I'm trying to work out how I get the ammunition used calculated automatically . In DTL you are allowed two shots at a target, a 0 counts as two as the shooter has missed the target with both shots . A 2 must be counted as a 2 because he has hit the target on the 2nd shot, and, funnily enough, 1 is actually counted as one . It's probably a simple formula, but my "senior moments" are taking there toll 0=2 2=2 1=1 . . . if there's a 10yr old out there who can show me how to do it, your assistance would be greatly appreciated . 6418 TIA SP8's |

This will give yo the amount of shots used You can then count the number of time "Y" appears in the 2 rows to get the shooter score by using the countif formula =COUNTIF(B2:Z3,"y") |
