| 1387120 | 2014-10-30 05:07:00 | You voted for these backstabbers-- So don't complain -- Want your tea breaks at work -- Sorry Suckers they are going going gone. GOT what you voted for. National Screws the workers AGAIN (www.nzherald.co.nz) "It shows the arrogance of this National Government that the first thing they do after being elected to office for a third term is to undermine workers rights and undermine health and safety at work. This legislation has one purpose: to keep wages down." |

| 1387122 | 2014-10-30 06:47:00 | Maybe read and understand the new law before getting your knickers in a knot. That reporting is just the usual cut and paste job of a Union press release and has little to do with the real world employment conditions. | CliveM (6007) | ||
| 1387123 | 2014-10-30 06:50:00 | Hey I voted Green :p So how about their policy of using Homeopathy to cure Ebola then? :) |

I listen every morning, 6.45 am, how well business is going and enjoy listening to the 100's of millions of profit to be made out there, right? Now, later in the morning and in the afternoon I listen to the debates of how to overcome hungry kids going to school, people living in cars, parks and caravans and and and... A real economic success story, don't you reckon! That is just the start. Key and mates are looking Obama way. Copy and paste job(from USA). That is surely going to serve us well.:D |

Another tory lover--- If it were a cut and past job why was it also on the news on TV -- oh right next thing you'll be saying that was a copy as well. Get ya head out of the sand and you may see that Key is screwing the average person (AGAIN) -- got what you voted for -- Enjoy the screwing -- theres lots more to come. Its a simple fact -- Key lovers wont say anything negative no matter how much it hurts them or other hard working people as it would make them look bad. |

| 1387128 | 2014-10-30 08:53:00 | So how about their policy of using Homeopathy to cure Ebola then? :) Might sound wacky at the moment, but what about the flu shots thousands of people take every year ? - bet that was thought "No Way" when it was first suggested. Homeopathy is a system of alternative medicine, based on a doctrine of “like cures like”, which means the patient is treated with a very diluted form of the substance causing the symptoms of the disease - in this case, a diluted version of the Ebola virus. Flu vaccines cause antibodies to develop in the body about two weeks after vaccination. These antibodies provide protection against infection with the viruses that are in the vaccine. FYI-- These quotes are copy / Paste just so you don't go getting confused ;) |

They always do. No breaks and if you don't like it, next employee.... National thinks this is helpful for those like air traffic controllers and people in sole worker situations etc....I think not. Breaks are essential to these people - especially the air traffic people.... I have to say - points to the Web Drive Helpdesk manager - he came up with - in addition to the standard rostered breaks - a stress break - if someone had a bad call or something - he said go out and get some air, smoke, relax, whatever....then come back in. Good on him, however a lot of employers are the opposite. |
