1386709 2014-10-23 02:00:00 There are two websites called WorkNZ.com & topincomenz.com, both belonging to the same outfit offering part time online work. I could do with some pocket money, and have spare time.

Has anyone had experience with these people?

1386710 2014-10-23 02:18:00 Welllllllll-- have a look at their FAQ:

What type of marketing methods do you use?

We use all kinds of marketing techniques including:
Internet marketing, mail order marketing
and *direct response marketing.
*Prospect customers come to us through various forms of advertising.

Read as phone marketing, -- expect to be abused and have the phone slammed down in your ear.

Are there start up and on-going costs with this business?

Yes, just like any other business would have. However our start up cost is minimal and running costs are in relation to the income you'd want to attract!

Hmmm so whos going to get money for nothing ( so to speak) them.

Just my :2cents: worth but you have to ask if it were as easy as they say, why isn't everyone doing it ?

1386712 2014-10-23 04:40:00 Try NZ Valued Opinions (www.valuedopinions.co.nz). I have made a bit with them though in vouchers (Now includes JB HI Fi). The more you complete their surveys (anywhere from 50 cents to $150 for multi surveys - usually $3 to $5 though), the more you get. Also can include younger family members - usually teenagers. I get about 15 surveys a week, but need to stick to them to be in their preferred membership survey requests. kahawai chaser (3545)
1386713 2014-10-24 00:48:00 If you have the time and means to go to big name shops then mystery shopping is a pretty straight forward way to earn a bit of extra cash. Pay is around $10-$20 a visit and takes 10 - 15 mins of walking around a shop/talking to sales people and however long it takes you type up the information that the company you're working for requests (shop cleanliness, how helpful the sales person was, whether they were able to find the product you were after, etc etc). You can normally knock one or two of those out each week or two.

Also +1 to valued opinions

1386714 2014-10-24 07:00:00 Have you considered working more hours if they are available in whatever job you have? (that's if you have one? I don't mean that in a judgemental way)

To me it seems like the money made of these sorta things could be much quicker made elsewhere. It might feel like it's money for nothing but the reality is that it's not much money and it's time consuming. I signed up for a few, years ago, and found them all to be a waste of time. I like to think I'm worth more than $5-$10 an hour...

Surveys are sometimes not about money, as you can get insights into upcoming consumer products to be released from major manufacturers. I was asked to test (taste) a range of NZ beer over a few days, and got paid 200 dollars. Another was for cereals, Energy drinks, etc. Research surveys from universities are interesting. And yes cigarette surveys. Surveys can be just one part of online passive income. Sure per hour generally are low, but one can build up - as I have - a portfolio of online income. It counts. Surveys are back door stuff for me, I have declined many, due to limited time. I even got a online job offer from one of the survey companies. Other benefits can come...

I am retired, 80 years of age. As I no longer have the strength or agility to work as a mechanic I have been creating and maintaining websites. I still have spare time and a few hours a week for Beer money and presents for grandchildren would be welcome!

1386717 2014-10-26 01:55:00 mzee: From Digital Inspiration 25 ways to make money online (www.labnol.org) from home from a successful tech blogger. From Liz a Kiwi who has come back home and her online income adventure blog. (lissowerbutts.com) I use to replicate her and others and learnt from them. If mechanic thought about a blog? Like School Bus Stop Man. (http://schoolbusmechanic.blogspot.co.nz/) Make a little through ads. kahawai chaser (3545)

Well that's fair enough! Perhaps the store surveys would be the way to go then, that way you are out and about and also get to see all the specials while on the job.
