2014-11-08 07:43:00 | 4 million people in NZ and the TPPA got a few hundred protesters,100% commies. The good thing is none of these commies would have voted or ever will vote National. So they can protest till the cows home. | prefect (6291) | |
2014-11-08 07:53:00 | The fact that we are a democratic country means you can vote for which ever party you want to. ... and regret later. :D :D

2014-11-08 08:35:00 | ... and regret later. :D :D It is obvious what the NP agenda is. So, don't vote for them, nothing to regret. Above all, it seems to be that the most important thing is to be feeding hungry kids. It is allright to do that, we must do that. All parties seem to agree. Is that all what we can think of for the foreseeable future? I would've thought that at least the same amount of thought and energy should go into creating opportunities. Not creating rich CEO's and low wages. Just venting a bit of frustration here ... ... ... ... ... :-)

2014-11-08 09:59:00 | 4 million people in NZ and the TPPA got a few hundred protesters,100% commies. Put ya glasses on you blind tory, try reading the article or watch the news on TV : Thousands took to the streets today to protest against the the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA), which organisers say is a secret deal that will threaten New Zealand's sovereignty. Its blind twits that have their heads in the sand that dont believe whats happening in front of their eyes. Mind you wouldn't expect a tory to see anything through rose colored glasses. And in case you dont know what that means --- if someone thinks about or looks at something with rose-coloured glasses, they think it is more pleasant than it really is

2014-11-08 18:55:00 | I doubt that very many of the protesters know what TPP stands for let alone understand it. I agree, but my concern is neither do I understand it, because I cant find out what the nuts and bolts of the proposal are. This is my concern with Key, he likes to do everything underhand. Take the Spying business. Before the Election nobody was being spied on. After the election oh look what weve just discovered: The Prime Minister today said there are around 30 to 40 New Zealanders on a security intelligence watchlist who are perceived as a potential terror threat or are involved with IS. HERE (www.3news.co.nz) Im sure if they had just knocked on his door and confessed he would have said so, therefore we can only conclude they were being spied on for a long time. Im not saying spying on these sods is wrong, but why tell lies about it? Take the Flag issue. He says that a Referendum is the democratic way to settle the matter. That being the case what about the No Smacking Referendum? Im afraid in my opinion he is a sly, slimy, sod and is only there because Labour imploded and over one million eligible voters stayed at home, unable to find anyone worthy of their vote.

2014-11-08 19:03:00 | if that's what the country really wanted then it deserves what it got, a dictator ignoring the wishes of the people unless it makes said dictator and friends richer | gary67 (56) | |
2014-11-08 19:29:00 | I doubt that very many of the protesters know what TPP stands for let alone understand it. How condescending this comment is. They understand that it is giving our autonomy and self-determination away forever to multinational rich pricks in exchange for nothing. The fact that you and most thicko voters can't see the forest for the trees is a sad comment on your grasp of this pivotal issue. A trade agreement that started with NZ, Chile and Singapore has snowballed and been hi-jacked by the yanks and japs, there's nothing in it for NZ now but heart-ache.
