1398724 2015-04-18 06:05:00 Wainuitech - surely it is not all medical programmes, or is that your Significant Other's fave? Its the Other Half LOL:wub Theres Plenty of Free programs & movies, and even more paid ones (if you subscribe) Haven't watched any movies yet SWMBO just likes the medical ones. They have on average 4 ad breaks over a program (1 hour program) , the UK ones last on average 15 seconds, the USA last about 1 minute. Not even enough time to make a "nature stop"

The funny thing is the only time there's ANY "buffering" is during the ads -- how sad :( But theres a little timer top left of the screen and it still counts down and then the programs carry on. Some of the USA ads are quite good.

We have a Computer under the TV, its connected Via HDMI, and controlled by a wireless KB/ Mouse.

We are going to get Netflix NZ at some stage.

1398725 2015-04-18 08:22:00 Been using Hola as a Extension through Firefox/Palemoon,not TV yetI don't think you understood my question... Hola's FAQ says that when using it on your computer, you're sharing the data with other peers. Which of course means that it's similar to a torrent app. So a decent firewall should be able to block outgoing packets/uploads, which of course will chew into your data allowance (and potentially open vulnerabilities). Right? Greg (193)
1398726 2015-04-18 22:42:00 Hola does raise some concerns with various Reviewers with it's potential vulnerabilities and sure it does use some Bandwidth thats why it's free for 4 Hours a day, some say it's slow some don't and there is better out there that offers more secure encryption and you pay

www.howtogeek.com .Some advise you install in a separate Browser or disable when not using which I have done
Probably better for a Media centre that would be separate from your other computer

www.vpnranks.com Gives you more info
