| 1398631 | 2015-04-17 08:35:00 | Try what Dug suggested in post #6, Disable the DHCP. This is from the next version of your router, V8 From the list on the left: Home Network - Interfaces - Local Network - Configure -------- Untick Use DHCP Server. Dont know if its 100% the right path or not. Yah 7.30 and only 1 more job to go out to tonight :) |

Please see the screenshots of what I mean . Last screenshot is where I think DHCP should be seen but it is not there . Thanks |

| 1398636 | 2015-04-18 06:29:00 | It's in: Home Network>Interfaces>LocalNetwork/Configure Tag 6398 Yep :D Just saw the pic's AppleFan was in the wrong place. Okay thanks and should i leave the DSL Cable plugged into the wall for internet access . ONLY on the the main (new) router, by disabling the DHCP, the thompson will be getting any info /ip address/ instructions / Internet access from the New Router. The Thompson should have a cable plugged into any one of the 4 LAN ports, connecting to any one of the 4 LAN ports on the New router. |

Ok wainuitech so i will disable DHCP in the thompson but like you said thomson should be plugged in to the 4 LAN Ports to the new any 4 LAN ports on New router , will it still interfere if i plug the cable into the phone line jackpoint or should it be the router of the Huwaei . Thanks |

| 1398638 | 2015-04-18 08:05:00 | Phone Line Jack --- Huwaei ONLY. The Thompson will be getting all the info from the Huwaei when set up and working correctly. You have to remember the Thompson will be acting as a Access Point / Switch now, NOT as a modem / router anymore. |
