| 1398232 | 2015-04-08 08:40:00 | After running the third command it asked if I wanted to add the Windows installation to the boot list, then said "the requested system device cannot be found". :( | pcuser42 (130) | ||
| 1398233 | 2015-04-09 06:51:00 | Assuming its still causing a problem, have a read of the following, scroll down till you get to "The requested system device cannot be found" neosmart.net Ignore the suggestions to use Easy Recovery Essentials, those programs either dont work, or you can do the tasks manually. Last resort, save the data and reinstall - Bit of a pain but it it all turns to custard its often quicker to do it that way. |

| 1398236 | 2015-04-09 08:44:00 | imgur.com Gets Admin. Worth bookmarking :D Getting the admin account wont be of any use if it wont boot into windows, the boot options and OS are not talking after a fight:D The link provided in post #3 is the same thing to allowing the admin account. Mind you one of the comments is completely true. Changed one word though Golden rule of computer security: If a person has physical access to a computer, nothing can stop him |
