Identify various countries flags.....

Yeah, and?

How is that anything to do with Aussie, NZ flags. And although there are differences, they are minor.

Me - I'll still vote to change it to a fern on black.

That's what we like, a bit of imagination.

1387533 2014-11-03 04:11:00 Hmph. MY design is still the best!

(urm, it's still in concept stage at the moment, but way superior than current submissions, and be $24m less expensive.)

1387534 2014-11-03 04:21:00 Why wasn't it on the voting forms as a separate item could have got the cost under a mil I bet. I wonder if JK has a mate who organises ballots to be ignored for a large fee gary67 (56)

and theres the problem.
There will never be agreement as to what a new flag should be, & who will design it .
So even if the flag is changed, there will be never ending moaning about the new flag & chances are it will be changed
again when the then opposition gets into power.

If you change the flag once, you've set a precedent & it can then be changed again & again & again.
But why would anyone really care what our flag is. What possible difference could it make. 99% of the worlds population wouldnt know what country
our flag belonged to.

1387540 2014-11-04 03:14:00 I can see the design of the flag will be the same as the name and design of our decimal currency back in the 1960s. It went on for years and that was just what to call it. When that had been decided there there was the design which went on for more years.. paulw (1826)
1387541 2014-11-04 03:39:00 I hate the haka.
It's become an embarassment IMO. And look at the words (in English). Seriously? They admit to that? Surely there is something a bit less cowardly for them to perform.

And look at funerals these days......

Actually bungy jumping sheep are rather appropriate, I'll vote for that too.
