On one hand we have National who wants to sell all the silverware to overseas buyers along with promoting a separatist society between Maori and Caucasian. Now take a look HERE (www.tradingeconomics.com) and tell me the books weren’t cooked prior to the election. Then there is Labour who are actually about four parties who can’t agree on much at all. Some want to introduce Capital Gains tax and some don’t, some want to select their cabinet on gender as opposed to ability, whilst others don’t. It just goes on as their previous leader was extremely sorry he was a Male and the majority of the remains of the party were happy to fix that for him but I don’t think got around to it. I also read somewhere Jim Anderton said that when he was Secretary of the Labour Party they had over 100,000 members but now 10,000 would be an exaggeration, which shows just what a non-event they have become. Where it will all end is anyone’s guess, but one thing for sure is we are going to have to fix our MMP voting system. |

Yet when left wingers are not happy with a governing party, they start name calling, whinging, and generally stoop to angry mob-style comments. That goes for both politicians and their voters and it just gets boring. No wonder National got in again. :2cents::sleep National only scraped back in because of the useless so-called "Labour" party who are exactly that, USELESS. From their traitorous Roger Douglas days (which sent the vicious, greedy, Business Roundtable and their foreign corporate cronies into paroxysm's of ecstasy, unleashing American capitalism upon New Zealand in a devastating maelstrom upon the Working-Class) they have never recovered and have no credibility as an "alternative" to National. They are so far right-wing that they destest the Green Party and would rather be on the Opposition Benches than reach a general policy agreement with the Greens - WHO ARE THE REAL LABOUR PARTY!!! Green Party policy has a number one statute that they will never go into coalition with the so-called "Labour" party because of the fact that the Green Party do not trust "Labour" and see "Labour" as being nothing more than a sloppy, ramshackle version of the National/ACT party. And what an insipid, lacklustre, pathetic mob the "Labour" party are; they still have not managed to get off their deadbeat backs to select another leader, and are STILL sluggishly loafing around leaderless!!! Why this is so is because they have got NO leadership material: their leader SHOULD be Helen Kelly but so-called "Labour" has got nowhere near the guts to elect a SOCIALIST for a leader!!! |
